Why we do what we do
There comes a point where a profession becomes something more than work.
Studio LIRA was born over countless conversations, long walks and cups of coffee, asking ourselves what architecture truly means to us and what role it should play in the world.
It grew from the realisation that architecture is the way we can best express our values, our curiosity and our desire to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of others. It also grew from an intuitive synergy between us, a shared way of thinking, questioning and seeing the world, and from the certainty that together we could support one another in pursuing that vision.
We believe the spaces we inhabit influence the quality of our everyday lives in ways that often go unnoticed. They shape how we feel, how we connect with others and how we experience the passing of time.
Architecture is both an art and a science. It is the act of giving physical form to ideas, shaping the environments where life unfolds in all its forms. With that comes both a privilege and a profound responsibility.
That is why Studio LIRA exists.

The Studio
Studio LIRA is a shared architectural practice founded by two Italian architects, registered in New South Wales, with more than twenty years of combined experience designing and delivering projects across Australia.
Over the past two decades, we have worked across high-end residential homes, alterations and additions, heritage buildings, boutique multi-residential developments, retail, hospitality and interior design. This breadth of experience allows us to approach each project with a broad understanding of design, planning, construction and project delivery.
Our services extend from feasibility studies and concept design through planning approvals, detailed documentation, construction and contract administration. Remaining involved throughout the entire process is one of Studio LIRA's greatest strengths, ensuring continuity, clear communication and the faithful delivery of the original design intent from the first conversation to the completed building.
