CASTLE HILL

Residential 2025

Castle Hill Residence is a family home organised around a central double-height space that anchors the house both spatially and socially. This void acts as the project’s core, connecting levels visually and physically while allowing light, air, and movement to circulate through the home. From this central volume, spaces unfold gradually, offering shifting points of view and a strong sense of orientation throughout.

The plan balances openness with moments of retreat, creating a series of generous living areas that maintain a clear relationship with the outdoors. Large openings, layered screens, and carefully positioned voids promote natural light and cross-ventilation, reinforcing a close connection between interior and landscape. Outdoor spaces are conceived as extensions of the living areas, supporting daily family life and informal gathering.

Material choices are restrained and balanced, allowing form, proportion, and light to define the character of the house. Subtle curved elements are introduced at key moments, softening transitions between spaces and creating continuity across rooms and levels. These gestures reinforce a sense of flow while maintaining clarity in the overall organisation.

Designed as a contemporary family home, Castle Hill Residence offers a feeling of spatial generosity without excess, where openness and connection are carefully calibrated to support comfort, flexibility, and everyday living.
