Studio LIRA was born the way many good things begin: through ideas exchanged over countless coffees, between two Italian architects who have spent the last twenty years immersed in the world of architecture, half of that time in Sydney.

What started as quiet conversations and shared sketches slowly became a clear desire to curate special projects with our own creativity, intuition and vision. After years of collaborating in different ways, we knew we could create more together, helping clients shape the spaces they imagine, whether it is a new home, a retail fit-out, an alteration and addition or a refined furniture selection.

Growing up and studying in Italy, a sense of heritage, harmony and proportion is something we carry naturally. It is not an aesthetic formula but a way of seeing. It informs how we approach every decision, how we read space and how we guide a project from concept through to completion.

We believe in reaching the essence of things, not taking shortcuts and not taking anything for granted.

Our design approach leans toward timelessness: calm gestures, thoughtful sequences of space and materials that age with honesty. As much as we trust our instinct and creative hand, our strength lies in adapting to every context and every client. Each story is different, and the architecture should be too.
